I’ve reached my 11th sleep-deprived day and have started to research radical methods to cope/cure my insomnia. The best and least logical solution (but a fantastic idea none the less!) is the Sleep Suit. The Sleep Suit, created by Forrest Jessee, is an experiment in architecture, the human body, and the ideas of personal space.
The design, idea and execution of this prototype is fantastic. Being able to sleep comfortably, anywhere? Really?? This is a dream of mine (and I’m sure many share this dream as well) to be able to get comfortable anywhere. Mind you, I have trouble with the falling asleep part all together, but maybe if I was comfortable….. Ah well. Below is an image of someone putting on and taking off the garment.
And finally? A few shots of the suit in use!! My favorite, and the one position I am most likely to end up in if wearing this outfit, is the head-to-keyboard look.
